Some odds and ends

Here are some pictures from the past 6 weeks. Not many, but I have to start somewhere.

These pics are from the beginning of the school year and soccer. Riley still had a cast on and I was concerned that he would injure other kids when he played. I took batting and tape and wrapped his arm, hoping that would be sufficient protection for everyone else. It was. However, his arm looks like a giant club from that game whack-a-mole or club-a-gopher, whatever the name is. I'm just glad he would let me put it on his arm. I bet in a few years he would die from embarrassment.

Jason was able to help ref most of the soccer games this year. He really enjoys helping the kids to learn the rules better, or at least to help them not group up and run around the field like a herd of cattle. It's fun to see the younger kids play.

Just a little brotherly love

Addi and Conrad at a Rich High football game. Just to inform you, it was FREEZING!

I hate the stage where they want to feed themselves without help. It would be easier to just strip them down to the diaper every meal and let them go at it. He's not that messy, but that's just because I stopped him from painting himself anymore.

This is the 1st grade Halloween program. It was very cute and I was impressed with all the songs they knew.
Arrrrrgh matey! I thought Riley made a pretty impressive pirate. After the program, Jason and I were able to eat lunch with Riley. At first thought, school lunch doesn't sound appetizing, but then you haven't eaten at South Rich elementary! Homemade buns, cookies, cupcakes! Yum yum.

Well Jason would make a great ref... I mean I still remember the SAFE ZONE rule at your old house!! Great costumes.... Jerrik was a pirate too, but I misplaced his eye patch so he had two good eyes... guess it doesn't matter he had fun anyways!!
