We had a great room at a hotel on the same block as Disneyland so we wouldn't have to drive or use the bus. It worked out great. It was about a ten minute walk and right on the corner by the hotel was a 7-11. Every morning before heading out Jason and I got our caffeine fix prior to the adventure that awaited us each day. There ended up being a lot a caffeine and ibuprofen consumption (for me at least) between the crying and pleading and begging and screaming and laughing, and "I have to go potty" in the middle of the actual ride and countless other happenings that make trips like this so memorable.
Our best ride, for Jason and I, was the ferris wheel. Addi wanted to go on it and so we got in line. Most of the wait we listened to Riley and his comments of "this is a baaaaad idea Addi" and "I don't have a good feeling about this." Addi wanted to ride in a cage that would start swinging when reaching closer to the top. We tried to prepare Riley and Addi and let them know what would happen. Well, I regret not having the camcorder to permanently record this most enjoyable moment of terror. I may come across as cold and loveless, but Jason and I laughed and laughed and laughed while all 3 kids screamed, and cried and screamed. It was awesome!
It really was a good trip. However, my opinion is that we should not return until Conrad is around 5 years old. Perhaps by then when questioned with "What do you want to do now?" we won't hear "I want to go back to the hotel."

Grace told us all day...I want to go back to the Hotel and Swim. Had I known we could have just stayed at a hotel at home and had the same experience. Love the pictures.
