This is how I roll. Wild, huh.

We had a good Easter. We dyed eggs and I found out after almost 10 years of marriage that Jason would rather carve pumpkins and I would rather color eggs. Interesting what you continue to find out about each other after being together for so long.
On Easter day it was snowing and the kids had a great time flying their kites in it.
After Easter, we started celebrating birthdays. Jason made a cake for mine. The first one since we've been together. I was so happy that he would even do it. I slept in the morning of my birthday and when I woke up Addi told me that daddy had made me a cake, then she added that he had a hard time doing it. I love how honest kids can be, sometimes. For my birthday Addi picked out a shirt. Her taste and mine differ greatly, but it's the thought that counts, right?
Jason's first cake that he made, or at least the first one he's confessed to making
The shirt Addi so graciously picked out for me

The traditional eating of the 1st birthday cake. He was rather clean for a change

Thanks for the catchup. I had a great time at the dunes and so did all of my kids. Thanks for the invite and the chance to ride, tip over, ride, jump, tip over, clean sand out of the helmet, tip over, cuss and have a great time. Richard
Kathryn, Addi's cake was darling. Hope your Birthday was great. Love the shirt. Hopefully we will get to see you all soon. Love you.
I could care less if I never carved a pumpkin or colored eggs again! Who made up these crazy traditions that make you feel like a loser parent if you don't join in. Whatever. I love your posts.....add some more often. I noticed a big pump of hand sanitizer in one of the pictures, are you now a germ freak?
