Finally, an update.

For someone who honestly isn't busy, it sure is difficult to sit down and update a blog.

For the past month we've been able to have some summer fun. We went to Bear Lake and met up with some friends who had a wave runner. This picture is for my mom. Conrad and I had a great time cruising the lake. Bjorns are really quite convienent. (Just pulling your leg mom, I would never......!)

We went to the Uintas to go fishing and stopped at Butterfly lake. It's a pretty small lake and some fish were there, just not attaching themselves to our hooks for some reason. Riley actually caught a fish while reeling in the line, but at the last second unfortunately got off. It doesn't take to long to get there, at least by our opinion. (You know, considering the whole "drive 2 hours to get anywhere" story.) The drive is only an hour and 15 minutes, a real time saver! Anyone interested in coming up to go fishing?

We took another day and went to Bear lake again. This time there was no gas powered toys to play with, but we still had a great time. Jason started teaching Riley how to float on his back and not freak out while doing it.

This little gem of a picture is a favorite! Addi's best friend lives next door and he willingly plays princess with her since Riley absolutley refuses to even touch anything pink, which is a "girl" color. They play for hours and love to pose for the camera.

This is around July 24th and some of the neighborhood kids came over to do sparklers and watch fireworks. It was a lot more fun to watch their reaction than the actual fireworks.

Riley and Addi love Conrad! They are always asking to see him, hug him and hold him. I thought it was about time I captured a moment of family love during a sibling rivelry peacetime negotiation. I wouldn't hold your breath about the peacetime part though. They "look" innocent, and then, BAM! the war is on again. You just gotta love kids right? I mean, why else would there be so many?

So there you have a condensed version of our summer so far. Hopefully we'll have some more to share with ya 'all soon.
