A hodge podge of pictures

Here's an overload of pictures that will show the gist of what we've been doing over the past 6 weeks or so.

Riley and Addi in the first significant amount of snow of the season.

Riley and cousins up at the lambing shed near Fairview pushing the sheep into semis to be transported to somewhere other than where they are.

Going on a hunt for our Christmas tree.

Caught in the act of getting along.

Making and frosting sugar cookies for Christmas. I actually made the dough from scratch and they were edible!

My good friend's husband painted my toenails. Yes, you read that right.

They are really quite cute; red with white snowflakes. The first time I took my socks off, I had forgotten that they were painted and I was shocked to see feet that looked like a man's with painted toenails. It was like looking at a cross dresser's feet. My feet are not pretty so I never let them out in public. Obviously I don't paint my toenails often. Perhaps twice in the last 10 years. I've recovered now, and have adjusted to the more feminine side of my feet.

Christmas morning!

I don't know what's up with the leg.

Uncle Steve and Grandma and Grandpa McAllister came to spend Christmas day with us.

A snow fort built by our neighbor, I think.

Cousins sledding at Layton when we went for a sleep over. Jason purposefully put them on backwards and sent them down. They had a great time.

Conrad just being cute, like his dad, but without the ego.

Addi drove the 4-wheeler by herself for the first time and liked it. Jason had a strap on the back to maintain orderly conduct and safety for all. She really did a great job and perhaps when it's not below freezing she'll try it again.

Well, there you have it. A brief review of the holiday season. Hope you all had a good one!
